Your initial password is defined by your N4 administrator. You can change your password if necessary. However, you must know your password to change it. If you forget your password, contact your N4 administrator.
If your site is using N4 authentication for XPS, you need to change your password in N4. See Changing your password in N4.
To change your password:
In the Log In dialog, click the Set Password button.
Follow the commands in a series of three dialogs, asking you to:
Enter existing password.
Enter new password.
Re-enter new password.
After you complete this series of dialogs, the Log In dialog re-displays.
Log into the XPS client as described in Logging into the XPS client (on page 1).
If you use N4 and N4 Billing together and you change the password for the user account used to communicate with N4 Billing (specified in the CGOWS002 (N4_WS_USERID) setting in N4 Billing), you must also change the password specified in the CGOWS003 (N4_WS_PASSWORD) setting in N4 Billing to match the new password. The CGOWS003 setting specifies the password used when calling the N4 Web Service.
